Woodturnings in Ancient Bog woods

Bog wood comes from ancient forest trees preserved in the bog sometimes for as long as ten thousand years, making it some of the oldest timber in existence. The wood has a distinctive character and beauty that is revealed by working and it speaks to us of a far distant past when our remote ancestors walked among those trees.
